Hi, this is Regina Cooper hosting this week's challenge. The challenge is to make a birthday card with sparkle!  Any kind of sparkle, such as gems, sequins, stickles, glitter pens.

We have Sparkle N Sprinkle as our sponsor this week.  Be sure to check them out - they have FREE SHIPPING! The stamps are made in Florida and they make their fabulous glitter too!

PRIZE
Up to $15 for a digital image or set of your choice

For this challenge I made a card using Sparkle n' Sprinkle digi called Birthday Friends.

I was able to use five of these digis on my card.  This is a very fun stamp to color, lots of great detail.  I fussy cut the bottom of the digi to make it look like they are sitting at a table and I used patterned paper as the tablecloth and made it fancy along the side using the border dies.

Here is my card:

Here is a closeup of the "Sparkle" Be sure to check out all the glitter at Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, Judy Woodland here with another Mod Squad Challenge. Your challenge this week is Lavender and Lace. You may use either lavender or lace on your card, or both, and the lace can be real lace, a beautiful lacy die cut, or a stamp that is reminiscent of lace.

This week our sponsor is the wonderful stamp company Kitchen Sink Stamps.

These stamps are amazing. Most have a multi-stamp feature that lets you get great detail in your images using several colors. There is real dimension with a 3-D effect! And one of the best features of this stamp company is that there are color recipes for most of the multi-step stamps, so you don't have to guess what colors to use. There are even alternative colors if you don't have the inks that are suggested.

Maria from Kitchen Sink Stamps is a member of our Mod Squad Challenge Facebook Group so feel free to say Hi or ask any questions.
THE PRIZE:
$25 GIFT CERTIFICATE to the store. You can pick your own goodies and there are a lot of choices!

Here's my sample card:

And this is a closeup of that beautiful stamp.

The stamp I chose is the set called Mother's Cameo. This is a multi-step stamp consisting of 5 different elements. I chose Lavender and Lace as the challenge because the stamp reminds me of my 93-year old mom who loves lavender.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Lovely Lavender, Edible Eggplant, and White Card Stock
Graphic 45 Secret Garden Patterned Paper
Kitchen Sink Mother's Cameo Stamp Set
GKD Edible Eggplant and Lovely Lavender Ink
Memento Sweet Plum Ink
Spellbinders Lovely Labels 2 Die
Hot off the Press Oval Doily Die
Stash Pearls and Ribbon

We all make A2 size cards, usually.  Some are side fold and some top fold.  Today I would like you to change that, and make a Gate Fold card.  The cut and size are still the same, only the score is different.  The Gate Fold makes such an elegant card.  You friends will love the different look.

Hi Barbara Campbell here, I am so very excited to be hosting this week, and I will be doing the first week of each month until the end of the year.  Happy to be helping out Joyce as she does a wonderful job moderating this challenge.

                                                                         PRIZE

The prize is a great grab bag. You can check the link above to see what others have won.

Here is my example of the gate fold card.
It is so easy to coordinate a card with Gina K Designs as she has made it easy for us.  Here, I have used Gina's Ocean Mist card stock and the coordinating Shabby Spring design paper pack.  I also used the Ocean Mist and Warm cocoa inks.
That Master Butterfly stamp is my favorite and the sentiment inside is from Stately Flowers 7, by Melanie Muenchinger, for Gina K.
Oval Stitched Die is Lil'Inker

I finished the inside of this card by cutting out some of the butterflies and the dots stamp from Stately Flowers 7.  You no NOT need to finish the inside of your project.

Have fun and I can't wait to see what you all do!
