Hi everyone! Leslie Turner here and I'm happy to once again be hosting a Mod Squad challenge! A huge thanks to Joyce for asking me to play again! ;)

Starting this week the challenge will be closed at noon EST on Tuesday instead of Midnight.

My theme for you this week is "Bold and Beautiful" - let's see some beautiful bold colors on your projects! No wimpy pastels, lol! You are welcome to use any vendor's image to qualify for the prize, but you get a bonus entry if you use a sponsor image!

We're being sponsored this week by Sparkle N Sprinkle! Be sure to check them out - they have FREE SHIPPING! Their stamps are made right here in Florida and they make their awesome glitter!

PRIZE
Up to $15 in digital images or set of your choice!

I used Sparkle N Sprinkle's Bahama Woodstar digi for my thanks card which just happens to be a shaker (your entry does not need to be a shaker). The hummingbird is one of my favorite birds and I fell in love with this image the minute I saw it!

For more details and a couple more photos, please see my blog post at Love To Scrap! I hope you'll join us this week - I'd love to see what you create!
Scrappy hugs,
Leslie

Hello, Judy Woodland here.  It has been quite some time since I have hosted a Mod Squad Challenge Blog and I'm so glad to be back!!! The challenge this week is to take a stamp you would normally use for one purpose, and use it for another. For example, take a winter stamp like a snowflake, and use it to make a summer card, with the snowflake as flowers. Or use a tiny flower stamp to make a letter or flourish. Anything you like!!

This week our sponsor is the wonderful stamp company Kitchen Sink Stamps. Kitchen Sink Stamps offers us a discount. CODE: ModSquad

These stamps are amazing. Most have a multi-stamp feature that lets you get great detail in your images using several colors. There is real dimension with a 3-D effect! And one of the best features of this stamp company is that there are color recipes for most of the multi-step stamps, so you don't have to guess what colors to use. There are even alternative colors if you don't have the inks that are suggested.

Maria from Kitchen Sink Stamps is a member of our Mod Squad Challenge Facebook Group so feel free to say Hi or ask any questions.

THE PRIZE:

$25 GIFT CERTIFICATE to the store.
You can pick your own goodies and there are a lot of choices!

Here is my sample:

I thought it would be fun to use the pansy, which grows in the summer, as a Christmas flower. I used a gorgeous stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps called 3-Step Pansy. Each image has multiple stamps to get this awesome 3-D effect, and it's super easy to line each stamp up with the last one.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Sandy Beach and Red Hot Card Stock
Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas Patterned Paper
Memento Lady Bug Ink
GKD Inks In:
*Red Hot
*Cherry Red
*Cranberry Tart
*Jelly Bean
*Grass Green
*Fresh Asparagus
Spellbinders Build A Wreath Die Set
Martha Stewart Branch Punch
Stickles and Liquid Pearls
Vintage Photo Distress Ink

For the first Challenge in October, it is time to get your Fall on!  The challenge this week at the Mod Squad, is to make anything Fall.  Fall images, Fall colors, anything that makes you think Fall!  That is it, easy right?  Lets get the show started.  I would love to see what you creative crafters come up with.
Our sponsor this week is Gina K Designs.

A free community featuring card making, stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters featuring stamps by Gina K. Designs.Be sure to check out StampTV for a ton of great videos and techniques. They also have weekly challenges. Shop Gina K Designs
PRIZE
The prize is a great grab bag. You can check the link above to see what others have won.

Here is my example for Fall
To make this card, I used The Simple Things stamp and the free cut files that Gina gives you.  I colored the leaves and pumpkin with Copic markers.  I used Gina's heavy and layering weight card stock in white. Embossing Folder for texture and Stitched rectangles for a frame.

For my next example, I went with gold  embossing powder for the leaves and lots of glossy accents on the leaves.  The card stock is Faded Brick with coordinating ribbon.  I used an embossing folder, Leaves, on Ivory card stock. Stamp set was the first one that I bought from Gina K,  A Year of Leaves.  In this photo, the color is off, but I was able to catch the shiny leaves. That is a spellbinder die for the sentiment.

Be sure to add MSC in front of your link name for an extra entry if you use the Gina K.  image/product.  See HERE

I am excited to see all of your entries this week.  I will be watching and making comments.
